GREAT LIVE ENTERTAINMENT:
THE MAIN STAGE AT THE ALTER GARTEN
Entertainment with NDR Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Ostseewelle plus artists from MV, old favourites and new voices: at the Main Stage we’ll be presenting a host of live acts and foot-tapping entertainment for all generations.
The first highlight is on 2 October, when the band Juli pay a flying visit to Schwerin at the end of their tour and mark the 20th anniversary on their legendary song “Perfekte Welle”. On 3 October, Roland Kaiser and band will be performing his greatest hits and celebrating German unity with everyone at the festival. On 4 October, pop rapper Malik Harris and international pop sensation Zoe Wees will be performing on stage.

Look forward to three days of brilliant, sing-along live concerts from northern Germany and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, including the four coastal cowboys from cult party band Billy Rock, singer Sebastian Hämer with Trio, Les Bummms Boys with their catchy mix of rock, pop and Balkan folk, and the Hinterlandgang with rap from the hinterland of eastern Germany.

Plus, as well as welcoming visitors at the Blue Light District and inviting people see what it’s like inside a police car and response vehicle, the State Police Orchestra and the Federal Police Orchestra will be performing on 2 and 3 October.
The official ceremony to mark the German Unity Day in Schwerin will be broadcast live on 3 October from 12 midday to 1.30 pm.

The youngest guests are also very welcome: on 3 October, Sesame Street’s Samson will be popping by the main stage (3.25 pm); on 4 October, KIKA will be providing live entertainment from 11 am to 1.30 pm.
