“Made in THE LÄND – Loved in the world” is the official slogan for Baden-Württemberg at this year’s German Unity Day celebrations in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
THE LÄND is the home of inventors and creative minds. From the brassiere to the perm, from the Leitz office file to soap bubbles, there are so many inventions from THE LÄND that we are incredibly proud of. The deeply inventive spirit of the people of Baden-Württemberg makes us the leading innovation region in Europe.
And, if you think our main strength is our legendary work ethic, then you’re only half right: in THE LÄND, pleasure and quality of life play an incredibly important role. “Made in THE LÄND – Loved in the world!” We’ve prepared a great programme that guarantees fun and entertainment for all age groups.
Opening hours:
Wednesday, 2 October 2024 from 2 pm – 8 pm
Thursday, 3 October 2024 from 10 am – 9 pm
Friday, 4 October 2024 from 10 am – 8 pm
And if you get hungry while immersing yourself in our programme, we recommend a tasty “dinnede” baked in a wood-fired oven and a Tannenzäpfle beer or a Seezüngle lemonade, all available until midnight.
In the evening, a band from THE LÄND will be providing foot-tapping entertainment.

My name is Winfried Kretschmann and it is my great pleasure and honour to be the Minister President of the loveliest, sunniest, most innovative and quite simply the best state in Germany: THE LÄND!
The creative people who live here, the incredible countryside and the time-honoured traditions make THE LÄND truly unique. I cannot imagine a better place to live and work. While we’re incredibly proud of our traditional culture, we’re also busy working on the future with pioneering inventions developed in THE LÄND. In a nutshell: here, you can find everything you could wish for – and more.
