THE FAMILY AND SPORTS ZONE
The Family and Sports Zone in the Schlossgarten offers a fun choice of games and activities for children and parents: from crafts with the Bead Bus to football, archery, volleyball and basketball, boxing and wheelchair sports.
The state sports association, clubs, nature centres, the Scouts, the tourism association, the Kultursegel music workshop and many other organisations will be there to present their diverse cultural, sporting and educational activities.

The last big adventure
The Schweriner Marineclub e.V. has won the German Cutter Sailing Champion title five times – as well as notching up numerous other successes. One of the club’s legendary cutters will be on display at the Family and Sports Zone.
Karl’s mascot parade
The mascots of Karls Erdbeerhof will meet at the stage in the Alter Garten and will parade together to the Family Zone, where visitors can take photos with the cuddly characters. On 3 October from 3 to 3.30 pm.
Dramaukles
At the Schlosspark, stilt artist Dramaukles will be delighting young and old with his comical performances. He will be roaming around the Family Zone, but look out for him in the Unity Zone and Länder Mile too. Performances on 2, 3 and 4 October.
